ARVO 2024 and the IOR Tübingen

There is a special atmosphere here at the Institute for Ophthalmic Research (IOR) Tübingen during these last days. The kind of calm that usually comes from a high level of focus just before an important event.

This situation is recurrent every year around ARVO in May. This annual meeting is the largest worldwide gathering of scientists, physicians and specialists in vision science and ophthalmology. 

This year, the Institute for Ophthalmic Research Tübingen will present more than 30 contributions (oral or poster) from different researchers. This number does not take into account the entire centre of ophthalmology, i.e. the participation of our colleague clinicians. 

This strong presence of the IOR confirms our worldwide position as one of the most important research institutes in ophthalmology, dedicated to the understanding of mechanisms in a healthy and a diseased eye for the development of new therapies.
