Synaptic Interactions

How response diversity of retinal ganglion cells arises from the synaptic interactions in the inner retina

This projects aims at explaining the observed functional diversity of retinal ganglion cells in terms of bipolar cell responses. We aim to test whether it is possible to infer the functional connectivity between specific cell types from large scale recordings of BC and RGC responses to a standardized stimulus set.
