2018 switchBoard Retina Symposium and Summer School
The EU-funded project switchBoard (Coordinator Prof. Thomas Euler, Tübingen) offers a public symposium on cutting-edge retina research in Europe and internationally on Thursday, September 20, 2018. The event is organized by inilabs AG (tobi Delbruck, Gemma Taverni) and the Sensors group, Inst. of Neuroinformatics, UZH-ETH Zurich. Meeting venue is the Aula RAA-G-01 at the University of Zürich and ETH Zürich, Rämistrasse 59, Switzerland.

switchBoard (In the Eye of the Observer: Visual Processing at the Heart of the Retina) is an In Innovative Training Network (ITN) funded by the European Commission's Horizon 2020 programme under the Marie Curie Actions.

The 1° Complementary Skills Course will be held in Tübingen, Germany, hosted by Beneficiary 01, Universität Tübingen, from June 28-30, in conjunction with the Initial Training Network "MyFUN" (www.itn-myfun.eu).
The event comprises lectures and seminars on Ethics in Biomedical Research, Successful Writing of Scientific Papers, Setting Goals for Success, How to keep a Lab Book, Basic Legal Awareness and Basics of Intellectual Property Rights.
