The research program is in the field of Bioinformatics and Comparative
Genomics analysis. The candidate should have a solid background in transcriptomics
data analysis and knowledge of the biology of major eukaryote signalling
and metabolism pathways. With respect to target identification of factors
involved in inherited retinal blindness disease, competence in transcriptional
networks would be appreciated.
Located in Strasbourg, the laboratory has: all common sequence and structural
databases all common bioinformatics and structural tools and programs in-house
developed sequence analysis programs integrated comparative genomics platform
for transcriptomics data management and analysis competence in program development
and database management and development.
The network involved close interaction for biological experiments and validation
with the laboratoire de Physiopathologie Moléculaire et Cellulaire de la
Rétine in Paris and two genetics groups in London and Paris.
