Mid-Term Meeting in Tübingen, Germany

The MyFUN Mid-Term Meeting, hosted by Beneficiary 01 (EKUT), will be held in Tübingen, Germany on February 05 and 06, 2018.

This meeting will be attended by two representatives of the Research Executive Agency in Brussels (Project Officer and External Expert).

OSA Webinar "Solving the Myopia Puzzle"

The Optical Society is pleased to announce the 4th webinar hosted by the Applications of Visual Science Technical Group below the Optical Society of America at Dec. 15th 2017, 10am EST

This webinar will have presentations by Prof. Christine Wildsoet (UC Berkeley), Prof. Frank Schaeffel (University of Tübingen, Institute for Ophthalmic Research) and Prof. Donald Mutti (Ohio State U) who are all leading experts in myopia. The presenters will discuss current understanding of myopia, reasons why myopia is on the rise, and possible steps that can reduce or delay the onset of myopia.

Young Researcher Vision Camp 2017

The Young Researcher Vision Camp will be held on Castle Wildenstein in Leibertingen, Germany, from June 30 to July 02.

It is organized by Beneficiary 01, Universität Tübingen, and comprises among many other events a MyFUN session (not a mandatory part of the training programme).

1° Complementary Skills Course

The 1° Complementary Skills Course will be held in Tübingen, Germany, hosted by Beneficiary 01, Universität Tübingen, from June 28-30, in conjunction with the Initial Training Network "switchBoard".

The event comprises lectures and seminars on Ethics in Biomedical Research, Successful Writing of Scientific Papers, Setting Goals for Success, How to keep a Lab Book, Basic Legal Awareness and Basics of Intellectual Property Rights.

ZEISS Workshop

A workshop on “Ophthalmic Imaging” will be held in Oberkochen, Germany, hosted by Beneficiary 06, Carl Zeiss Vision International GmbH, on June 26 + 27.
