PhD student Pietro De Angeli explains his work in a short video. He aims at developing a cure for inherited retinal diseases such as Stargardt Disease or Retinitis Pigmentosa using the CRISPR/Cas method.
The PhD project within the Wissinger Lab is part of the “European Training Network to Diagnose, Understand and Treat Stargardt Disease, a Frequent Inherited Blinding Disorder”, funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks (ITN).
