EXIST-startup eye2you qualifies for bytes4diabetes finals 2021

The EXIST-startup eye2you with their Mentor Prof. Dr. Philipp Berens from the Institute for Ophthalmic Research Tübingen qualified for the bytes4diabetes Award finals in January 2021.

The bytes4diabetes Award recognizes brilliant ideas that improve the life of people with diabetes using digital solutions.

Eye2you was selected for their smartphone-based retina examination solution, that will allow general practitioners and diabetologists to examine the retina of their diabetic patients for indications of diabetic retinopathy. This way the diseases can be detected earlier and prevent potentially irreversible vision impairments.

The winners of the bytes4diabetes award will be announced during the DiaTec conference in January 2021.
