François Paquet-Durand was presented with the award during an official ceremony at the Schepens Eye Research Institute in Boston, on 19th September, 2015. Dr. Paquet-Durand´s research aims to improve the understanding of neurodegenerative processes in the retina, with the goal of developing novel treatments for hereditary blinding diseases.
