International Symposium: “Neuro-Ophthalmology Meets Vision Rehabilitation”

International Interdisciplinary Symposium - 8.-9. May, 2026 in Tübingen, Germany

Prof. Dr. Karl-Ulrich Bartz-Schmidt (Director of the Center for Ophthalmology) and Prof. Dr. Susanne Trauzettel-Klosinski (Head of the Vision Rehabilitation Research Unit) are pleased to invite you to the international interdisciplinary symposium “Neuro-Ophthalmology Meets Vision Rehabilitation.”

This symposium aims to bridge the fields of neuro-ophthalmology and vision rehabilitation, fostering the exchange of ideas and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration. It will shed light on the impact of lesions along the visual pathways and higher cortical areas from diverse scientific and clinical perspectives. Furthermore, the symposium will offer the opportunity to discuss innovative approaches to measuring visual functions as well as new therapeutic and rehabilitative strategies.

Renowned experts from various disciplines will contribute to a rich and comprehensive program, offering a multidimensional view of neuro-ophthalmology and vision rehabilitation.

We particularly encourage young researchers to submit abstracts for short presentations!
