Technology development:

In collaboration with the labs of Thomas Euler and Tom Baden, we developed an open source, flexible visual stimulator suitable for common animal models like UV-sensitive mice and zebrafish. This is critical, because many of these model species are not adequately driven by conventional devices optimized for humans.  All hard- and software components are described in detail online (https://github.com/eulerlab/open-visual-stimulator) for other to use and build upon. With this, we aim at a community effort towards a common stimulator design, thereby increasing reproducibility and comparability across labs.

We aim to make all data from published papers accessible for download at online repositories. See http://retinal-functomics.net/data/ for details.
